.......Baby!!!
Well today was our 20 week scan of the new baby, and everything was fine! Thank goodness! It was a bit of a nightmare as the little thing had it's arms and knees covering it's chest so they couldn't see the heart, but after a 20 minute break it had moved and they saw what they needed to. We didn't find out what sex it is. As some of you know I have been very undecided about finding out this time, and was just going to see what happened when we were in the scan, but I didn't ask. I don't regret not asking either, it will be a nice surprise in April (although I am sure it's a Girl now as there were no obvious boys bits!) So above is a photo from today, the scan was really clear and the little thing was wriggling about SO much, it was really amazing.
Well apart from that we haven't had a great week or so. My back was still causing me a lot of problems last week, but luckily it has got better for now. Then on Tuesday afternoon Holly started being sick and it appeared she had caught this horrible stomach bug that is going about. Then in the middle of the night Ian and I both got it, what a nightmare!! Luckily Holly was ok on Wednesday so we managed whilst we were both really ill, then she got worse again, but was on the up by the weekend, and is fine now.
We just had a quiet day on Saturday and yesterday my Mum came through, which was great, Holly was so glad to see another face!! Ian and I took advantage of the babysitter and went out for dinner and to the pictures last night, and Holly had a great time with her Granny.
Sorry I honestly can't remember what we have done since the last blog entry, but I am sure it has just been our usual stuff! And I haven't been taking any photos (shock horror!) but here is one of Holly this morning with her cheeky face on!
