So yesterday we had a quiet family day. We got up in the morning and let Holly open her mountain of presents!! She really didn't know what was going on and it took some time!
Holly got lots of lovely presents, thank you so much to everyone. I will write proper thank you notes after Christmas though. Here she is playing with her Rattle and Ride Winnie The Pooh.
After a shorter than usual morning nap we went out to Brewsters for our lunch, it was such a miserable day that we needed somewhere indoors she could play. Here is Holly choosing what she wanted for lunch....
Holly had a proper meal off the menu for the first time, Cottage Pie, which didn't go down too well, but she has been off her food for several days.
In the afternoon we just played with all her new toys. Then at night Poor Holly wasn't well and was very sick about 8.30pm, all over Mummy. She hasn't been right for a few days and I think she has had this bug thing that the rest of us have. It took us ages to get her to sleep but she had a good night and is OK so far this morning. What a shame for my poor baby on her first birthday.
So that was Holly's Birthday, I think she had a nice time even though she wasn't well.
Finally here is a photo of the picture that we bought Holly for her 1st Birthday, it is really lovely and will hopefully be something she keeps forever....
Well that is it for now, we all wish everyone a fantastic Christmas and hope Santa is very good to you all.....
Bye for now,
Hannah, Ian, Holly and the bump XX
