Holly Baby Update

Hello All! I thought I had better update Holly's Website as we haven't posted for a few days. Above is a photo of her this morning, wearing something other than pink! Holly is OK, she is a little out of sorts at the moment though and I have been a wee bit worried, so we are going to take her to see the Health Visitor today. She hasn't been eating, sleeping or poo-ing (!) as well as normal, so just want to get her checked out. You know what I am like, worry about everything and it's probably nothing!
Apart from that we have had a busy few days, what with broken washing machines etc! I had my first proper night out last night with my work, which was good and Daddy coped well baby-sitting considering Holly Baby is not her happy self.
We have Granny Forbes through to visit today, then Grannie and Granda Stewart and Uncle Steve are maybe coming tomorrow.
Well had better go, it is 11am and I'm still in my pyjamas!

The new man in Holly's life!

Hello Everyone and Happy Easter. Today Holly met my friend Julie's baby, Kory James Buckingham. He was born yesterday, 26th March at 6.50am and was 7lbs 9ozs. Both Mum and Baby are doing fine. He is absolutely adorable, so tiny and cute, and slept the whole time we were there.

It's a tough old life...

Well, Holly was left in Daddy's hands all morning today whilst Mummy went out shopping! It's longest that Daddy has been left on his own with Holly so the pressure was on! Fortunately for Daddy the incredible sleeping baby appeared around luchtime and decided the nice Tigger play gym that he bought her was in fact a very nice alternative to her cot!

Who said this baby lark was difficult.......

PS. Daddy had the pleasure of 3 smelly nappies today:(

Out for Lunch!

Hi All. Above is a photo of 'Cool Holly' taken when we were out for today for Easter lunch. We have had a busy few days, on Wednesday Holly had her 2nd injections, which went fine, she did scream for a bit, but calmed down quite quickly then started chatting away. I also had her weighed and she was 14lb 6ozs, so that is quite a gain in 6 days!

We were in Glasgow yesterday (see below) and today Mummy and Granny took Holly and Rosie Dog a walk round Duthie park and then we all went to the Lairhillock for lunch, which was nice.

So now I am away to stuff myself with Chocolate, well it is Easter!

Holly meets her Great Grandma

As reported earlier in the week, Holly met her Great-Grandma (my Dad's Mum) in Glasgow yesterday. Above is a photo of the 4 generations together. We had a lovely day visiting Gran, she was in very fine form and loved meeting her Great Grandaughter!

3 months old today!

Hi there! Well Holly is 3 months old today! I can't believe it, time has passed so quickly. She is really managing to grab at things now and I am sure she gave me a laugh yesterday afternoon, although I don't think Ian believes me!

Holly has a few things on this week, she has her 2nd injections tomorrow (which Mummy does't enjoy.) Her Granny and Grandpa Forbes are coming to stay too. On Thursday we are going down to Glasgow so Holly can meet her Great-Grandma for the first time, how exciting! On Friday we are going out for Easter Lunch, so it is going to be busy busy!

Holly's Boyfriend!

Hi Everyone. Above is a photo of Holly with her (boy)friend, Matthew, taken today. I met his Mum, Angela, at ante-natal classes. Matthew is nearly 5 months old and such a lovely, happy wee man. He has just started eating solids and it is funny to see the mess he gets in!

What a Big Girl!

Hello Everyone! Just a quick update to let you know that I had Holly weighed today and she was 13lbs 14 and 3/4 ozs!! Now I did weigh her myself last week, so I think I must have done it wrong, either that or she has put on 13ozs in a week!

What a big girl, must be all that milk she is demolishing!

12 Weeks Today!

Hi Everyone, Holly is 12 weeks old today, can you believe it?! Above is a photo of her this morning, not the cutest photo, but it made me laugh, she does have some very funny faces. So this week she weighs 13lb 1oz, which is good going. She was sleeping from 8.30pm until 6ish, but I think she was just teasing us as she has been up at 4/5am the past few mornings, little monkey!! She is really chatting away now, she talks to her mobile that Auntie Sarah and Uncle Mike got her every morning, which is very cute. She is beginning to grab at things, and can rub both of her eyes at once when she is tired, so is getting to grips with co-ordination!

We don't have that many plans for the coming week, we are seeing Julie today (and trying to encourage her bump to make an appearance!), then off to Baby Clinic tomorrow and to see another Nursery.

So that's it, Holly Baby is asleep now so had better make the most of the time and get dressed!
