Hospital Visit

Hi folks. Well another week has flown past, what have we been up to? Well just a normal week really. Holly was really good at going in to School Nursery this week and we have had no tears. She seems to be feeling better too after her chest infection.

The weather was really nice for February last week, so we got some time in the garden here are the girls playing, well Holly is eating a jaffa cake!!

We were just doing our usual stuff the rest of the week. On Friday I woke to find I had a stinking cold so have just been taking it easy since really. Holly had a party to go to on Saturday afternoon so Ian took her to that whilst me and Nat stayed at home. On Sunday Ian and Holly made a lovely Weight Watchers meal for dinner, here they are making the pud....

Today we were up and out early to take Holly back to the Children's hospital. Both the girls were really excited about going, I think they think hospitals are just big play rooms!! Holly saw the consultant who was incharge of her care whilst she was in and he had a good listen to her chest which was all-clear. He is happy she doesn't need to be seen again and she has a clean bill of health, which is fantastic. Here she is tonight, taking a photo of Daddy with her Dora camera:

We went to Asda after that then just had a quiet afternoon. Ian is back to work tomorrow but Holly has another day off school as it is 'in-service' for the teachers. I am starting to learn there are a lot of these random 'in-service' days!!

Anyway sorry it's not a very good blog this week!

Busy Weekend!

Hi All,

We've had a busy time of it this weekend with visits from both sets of Grandparents! On Thursday Granny Doggie came to stay. She was through in Aberdeen for a meeting then was looking after the girls on Friday whilst Hannah got her hair cut. Grandpa and Rosie also came through on Friday to stay the night aswell so the girls were spoilt for company! Natalie was particularly chuft and was following Rosie about saying 'Hello Rosie' and giving her cuddles.

On Saturday I took the girls to Duthie park in the morning. Here's some pictures from there:







We then paid a quick visit to Sarah and Mike, again Nat very chuft with seeing more family members and had us all in stitches with her daftness!

Then today Grannie Toys and Granda came through for a visit. We went to Brewsters for lunch which was really nice. Here's a nice pic of Grannie and Holly:




After that we went outside for a bit as it was an OK day. Here's a couple of pics of the girls:



As for the rest of the week well Hannah had a tooth out on Wednesday which was not good!! I'm sure anyone who's had an extraction can symphathise with her :(

Holly's had a bit of a funny week aswell. It started on Tuesday when she got sent home from Nursery. She had been a bit upset when I dropped her off but I though nothing of it however the Nursery called about an hour or so later to say she hadn't really calmed down and was coughing a lot. Hannah picked her up then got her seen at the Doctors (nae messing about this time!). Turns out she had another chest infection!!! Only minor this time but she's back on antibiotics - poor Holly!!!!

So she then had a day off Nursery. She seemed fine on Thursday so I took her back. Unfortunately she got really upset once she got changed at Nursery and really didn't want to go in. However after about 20mins of me trying to get her calm (and failing!) the Nursery though it would be best of I just left her. It was quite hard to do as she was hysterical when I left but seemingly she calmed down fairly quickly and was OK after that. The Nursery thought that it was maybe because I was dropping her off and she was playing up so we decided that Hannah would drop her off on Friday. Unfortunately she did the same thing and again we had to leave her screaming :( She was OK after though.

So it must be a phase she's going through. Hopefully we will just battle through it and she'll be fine. She did say to us after her bath tonight "I'm feeling better to go the Teddy Bear School and
I won't cry". So here's hoping she keeps to her word!!!!!

Anyway that's enought for this mammoth blog (must be a record for us!)

Nae much to say!!

Hi Folks

Great title I know! But it pretty much sums this post up!! As Ian said last week we have a deal to take it week about to do the blog so I can't let the side down so early on even if I have not much to report.

So this week has been pretty miserable, the girls have been full of the cold since Monday, so we have just been in the house mostly with the girls being very fed up. Holly missed Pebbles and School a couple of times, and when she went back to Pebbles on Friday Nat was sick all over the carpet when we dropped Holly off. So really it has just been one of those weeks! Nat has picked up now, Holly is still not great and I will be having her seen by the doctor tomorrow if she is no better.

Anyway some photos!!! Here is Holly looking poorly on the sofa tonight......

This photo is quite funny for anyone who has had the pleasure of putting Natalie to bed. If you don't know we (mostly Ian!) have to sit beside her until she goes to sleep and hold her hand (yes she is nearly 2!!). So yesterday the girls were playing in their room and we found Holly lying in Natalie's cot and Nat holding her hand obviously pretending to help Holly to sleep!!

Well I really can't think of anything else to report, another busy week ahead, hopefully the girls will be feeling better.

p.s. I forgot to say you may notice Nat has 2 marks on her face in some of the photos. This is the result of her and Holly having a proper fight the other day over Daddie's Nintendo DS. Poor Nat came out worse. Needless to say they were both in trouble over that!!
