Holly a year ago....

Hi All. I just wanted to post this picture of my 20-week scan which I had exactly a year ago today. It was such a relief to have the scan and find out everything was OK, as I had worried so much up until then... we also found out she was a Girl, but I knew that already :-)

Hasn't the time passed SO quickly....

Just woken up!

Hi All, just a quick post tonight, here is a photo of Holly this morning after she woke up from her nap.... on her front! This is the first time we have gone in to her room and she has been anywhere apart from where we left her, she isn't a big mover!! So we were both very surprised to find her like this....

We have had a quietish couple of days, just enjoying Ian being off and having some time all together.

Bye for now,

Day away in Glasgow

Hi All, that's us just back from Glasgow where we were visiting my Grandma. We had a great day with Gran, she is doing really well and was just SO pleased to see Holly. We arrived in Glasgow about 11am and had some lunch then spent a few hours playing with Holly, then headed off at 3pm. We stopped in Dundee on the way back for a pizza and to refill Holly with food! She was really good and slept most of the time, but she did cry for the last half hour of the journey, she'd had enough by then! Here are a couple of pics from today.....

Well that's it for now, it's been a long day!

Swimming!

Hi All, Just a quick update tonight. We took Holly Baby swimming this morning for the first time! We have been meaning to go for ages, but have never got round to it, so today we took the plunge (ha ha!). Holly was totally bemused by it really, she just sat there in her float thing looking at everyone in the pool and seemed particularily taken with the male lifeguard, she kept looking for him and smiling when he waved at her! But we think she enjoyed it, she certainly liked the swimming pool more than the ball pool! We don't have a photo of her today, but below is a photo we took a couple of weeks ago when we were trying on her swimming costume....

We have had a quietish weekend apart from that, yesterday I got up early and hit the Next sale with Angela, we were there by 7.30am and it was absolutely mobbed. We got heaps of bargains, nearly all of it for the babies of course It was really good fun we felt like we had been on a day out even though we were home by 10.30am!

Well that's it for now,

7 Months already!

Hello All, well as the title says, Holly is 7 Months old today, which is unbelievable. Here she is this morning looking very pleased with herself...

So we are back from Lossie now, we got home at lunchtime on Thursday. We had a lovely time up there. On Tuesday Leona came to see us which was lovely. Here we are with Holly Baby...

Leona got Holly a very cute hat which she is wearing below, doesn't she look gorgeous?!

On Tuesday night Ian and I went out for an Italian Meal in Elgin, leaving my Mum incharge of the baby! Holly was as good as gold for Granny, of course! On Wednesday we met Grannie Stewart for lunch and the rest of the time we just went walks and chilled out.

So now we are back in Aberdeen and don't have that many plans for the rest of our holidays, we are going to take Holly swimming for the first time and also are heading down to Glasgow to see my Gran. We have Rosie dog staying for a few days because Mum is away in London.

Well that's it, not a lot to report.

Bye,

Holly Baby Update... Again!

Hello All, another Holly Baby update for you, quite a couple of things to report tonight. So firstly here is a photo of Holly eating Toast yesterday morning, I have started giving it to her this week and she LOVES it as you can see. The only downside is the mess it makes!

So yesterday Mum came through to babysit whilst I went in to town to get my hair cut and for a wander round the shops, a rare treat!! Holly and Granny were fine and I don't think Holly even noticed I was gone. Once I got home we all went to Asda and Holly got a new highchair to keep up in Lossie. Last night I was working and didn't get home until after midnight, so am really tired today.

Today we had a quiet morning and went a short walk in the morning to pick up our car from the garage. It has been a gorgeous day here is Cove, here is Holly sitting in the garden for a couple of minutes whilst I was hanging out the washing...

After lunch we popped over to see Angela and Matthew, here are Holly and Matthew holding hands, how cute!

Holly has been quite grumpy today and this evening we discovered why, her second tooth has arrived!! It's amazing because I was checking her gums this morning and there was nothing there and tonight it was through. It is her 2nd bottom tooth, so now we have to wait for the top ones, which probably won't be that long at this rate!

So tomorrow I am off out to work again and meeting a friend for lunch and on Sunday we are off to meet Mum and Dad at Morgan McVeigh's near Huntly, Dad is off to the Gulf, "Defending the Nation", next Friday, so we want to see him before he goes.

Bye for now,

Hannah

New Arrival and a Happy (Early) Birthday!

Hello all, Hannah here with an update on the last few days. On Monday we had a quiet ish day and went over to meet Ian for lunch, something I don't think I have ever done all the time we have been working!! Yesterday was Baby Group which was good as always and we had a laugh recalling Friday night's antics!

So today we have been very busy. In the afternoon we headed over to our friend Jacqui's house to see her daughter Charlotte, her boyfriend Callum and their gorgeous wee baby, Murray Thomas. Murray is only 12 days old and just adorable. They are all doing really well and it was lovely to get a hold of a new baby again, I have already forgotten Holly at that age which is sad. So here is the wee man himself....

After that we rushed back home to start making dinner for Sarah and Mike. Sarah's 25th Birthday is next Wednesday, but they are going to be away in Dubai no less, so we had them up for an early Birthday Tea. I had made Sarah a cake too, with a little help from Holly!

We had a lovely dinner and Sarah was really chuffed with all her presents (a pink iPod being one!) and her cake (which was yummy even if I do say so myself!)

So that was our day, I'm shattered now!

Bye for now,

Hannah
